ON DIRECTING

 

If there’s one thing almost 30 years as a professional producer, animator, VFX art director and storyboard artist has taught me, it’s the importance of hiring the right director.

An eternal student of the craft, my ability soared when I was trained on the job by ASC lifetime achievement honouree, and multi-academy award-winning cinematographer, Robert Richardson.  I continue to assist him, and others as a storyboard artist, designing hundreds of hours of visual narrative for Disney, Warner Bros, Sony, Netflix, Amazon, NBC/Universal, Apple, ABC, Paramount, Fox and many more.

My ambition is to tell the greatest on-screen stories of our time, and to be the right director for the very best film/TV projects.
